Cloon River B&B sits on the foothills of the Partry Mountains and on the banks of the River Cloon.
- The purpose built house is surrounded by 72 acres of ecological rich lands which includes fertile bogs, mature woodlands and lush meadows. Located on the land is an 18th century ironsmelting furnace.
- Lough Mask is accessible 3km downstream on the river Cloon which borders our lands.
- While this rural setting is unspoiled it is strategically located with many of Mayos natural, historic and cultural locations in close proximity.
- Train stations at Westport (20mins) and Castlebar (20mins), along with Ireland West International Airport (Knock) 45mins, Shannon 2hours and Galway 45mins create a link from Dublin and overseas. The drive from Dublin takes 3.5 hours.
- Guests can avail of our courtesy bus for collection from train stations and airports as well as restaurants & bars.

- In designing the house Paul & Frances endeavored to make it accessible to all, especially those with disabilities, (Further information on our wheelchair access is to be found on the tab above).
- Please see our Packages for the activity breaks, the activities will include the Croagh Patrick Heritage Trail, electric cycling tours, hill walking and Christian & Heritage tours. Packages can be developed to suit group or individual requrements.
